Kalle Rovanperän level in the Oceania regional formula series seems to have been found. On Sunday morning, the Taupo track was first timed, where the Finnish driver secured the 15th starting grid for the main race of the weekend.
After that, there were two races in the program, in the first of which he drove to the checkered flag in 14th place.
Late F1 champion Denny Hulmen the commemorative race started at a quarter past three in the afternoon. The rain that plagued the morning had receded, so there were 23 laps of dry weather ahead.
Rovanperä took the start sensibly and did not spoil his race with too tight gaps. He drove the first part of the race in 14th place.

Rovanperä’s ranking can still change because Jack Taylor and Yovan David are under investigation by the jury due to a possible rule error.
Oceania’s regional formula series will continue again next weekend, when the series will move to Eteläsaari. The race venue then is the Teretonga motor track.
