National ice hockey player Nico Sturm has returned to success with the Minnesota Wild in the NHL.
The team from Saint Paul beat the in-form Buffalo Sabers 5-4 after overtime in a wild game and won again after three defeats in a row. Minnesota is in third place in the Western Conference.
Sturm played as the center of the fourth row for almost eleven minutes, but the Augsburg player did not contribute a point to the victory. The guests initially lost a 3-1 lead.
Buffalo, which won 15 of its previous 17 games, turned the game around within six minutes. However, Minnesota struck back: star newcomer Quinn Hughes equalized, and in overtime Mats Zuccarello scored to win.
