The project aimed at bringing even sedentary people closer to practicing sports was presented in Limbiate, thanks to an innovative machine
In the context of 2026, each of us is driven to seek performance. At work and in private life. And also in sport. Too often we forget that practicing sports is first of all an investment to be made in one’s own person. Not to have more muscles than your locker neighbor, to overtake your office colleague on a bike climb or win the cup at the tennis club. But to ensure a longer and healthier life. And delay appointments with doctors and medications as much as possible. If staying healthy is not a problem for a person who has always played sports, for someone who is used to a more sedentary style, it is more complex to make that click. However, advances in technology also come to the aid of sedentary people.
THE MACHINERY

What would you think if they told you that with a 15-minute session, equal to an hour of training in the gym, you can achieve the same results? Technology and Artificial Intelligence are the basis of the Neovis FitLab Point, the result of an innovative patent. The pilot project is not a traditional gym, but aims to create an active, accessible and replicable health prevention model without the consumption of new land and major infrastructure works. Ideally stimulating all muscle groups. In fact, personalized and safe routes are planned, which also allow accessibility for the over 50s and untrained people. Because training correctly costs less than treating yourself when it’s too late.
THE EVENT
—
The project was inaugurated on Saturday 17 January in Piazza 5 days in Limbiate, in the presence of many people, evidently intrigued by an initiative that is unprecedented in Italy. A former newsstand, one of the 27,000 that have closed in Italy in the last 15 years, hosted the first Neovis FitLab Point, a project that could, if not revolutionize, contribute to increasing the number of people who practice sports, as well as catering to professional athletes who want to optimize their preparation time. “Neovis FitLab Point – explains Loris Rubino, administrator of the project – was created with the aim of concretely improving the well-being of the citizen, offering a scientific and technological system that makes physical activity accessible, safe and measurable even for those with little time or specific needs. We wanted to transform a space without prospects into a lively, well-kept and popular place, which contributes to enhancing the urban context”.
