The Bundesliga conference has been broadcast by DAZN since this season. Sky offers an alternative program. But there are problems at the start of the second half of the season.

At the start of the second half of the Bundesliga, the pay-TV broadcaster Sky is struggling with problems broadcasting the games on Saturday afternoon. Specifically, it’s about the “Multiview” format, which has been offered since this season. Because Sky has lost the rights to the Bundesliga conference, but still holds the rights to the individual games, it is now possible to see a game previously selected by Sky large on the screen via “Multiview”. The other games on Saturday will be shown to the right in smaller telescopes.

However, there was a lot of confusion in the presentation of the games on matchday 18. The problems arose right at the start of Saturday’s games. The large window should actually show Borussia Dortmund’s home game against FC St. Pauli. But the pictures showed the duel between Cologne and Mainz.

There were also incorrect displays in the small windows on the right. The area where the game between HSV and Borussia Mönchengladbach was supposed to be shown was showing the game between Hoffenheim and Leverkusen. The clash between Wolfsburg and Heidenheim was in the window of Cologne and Mainz. And where Hoffenheim against Leverkusen was supposed to be shown, the entire “multiview” screen was visible.

Sky responded shortly after the problems occurred, displaying a banner in the top left corner of the screen. There was talk of a “technical malfunction”. “We apologize,” the broadcaster added. A little later the problems were resolved.
