Only two athletes from the Alpine republic made the long journey to Asia. The ÖSV team is led by Lisa Eder, who finished in ninth place yesterday. Julia Mühlbacher finished the competition in 17th place. The Swiss team did not travel to China.

The German team
The qualification, which was supposed to start at 7:45 a.m., was canceled and therefore all 47 jumpers are allowed to start in the first round. The DSV squad consists of Selina Freitag, Katharina Schmid, Agnes Reisch, Juliane Seyfarth, Anna Hollandt and Emely Torrazza.

Who will stop Prevc?
The reigning overall World Cup winner Nika Prevc won the last five competitions and also confidently leads the overall World Cup. The 20-year-old Slovenian is around 300 points ahead of the Japanese Nozomi Maruyama. But DSV jumper Selina Freitag is also in good shape and has already landed on the podium five times this winter. Just like yesterday when she came third behind Prevc and Maruyama.
