A football player Ollie Clarke33, has been banned for seven games after convulsing an opponent in an FA League Cup match in August, BBC news.
Clarke, who represents League Two side Swindon Town, was also fined £2,750 for his offence.
According to the disciplinary reports, the British player committed a “highly offensive and intentional foul” involving the intimate areas of two opposing players.
The inappropriate action took place in the middle of a league cup match against Cardiff City.
Disciplinary reported that after the match, one of the Cardiff players went to the referee and was clearly out of his league. He could barely speak.
Clarke has admitted what he did, but denies he did it on purpose. Discipline did not swallow the explanation.
– There is no explanation as to why he would have touched the intimate areas of his opponents – especially when the game was over at that moment, the report says.
