His debut season at Ferrari was disappointing for Lewis Hamilton. Will everything be different this year? His employer has now announced an important personnel decision.

Seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton is getting a new racing engineer at Ferrari. Riccardo Adami is transferred after several arguments with the 41-year-old Briton that were heard over the team radio.

Ferrari announced that the 52-year-old Italian will, among other things, be responsible for the traditional racing team’s youth work in the future. A successor to Adami, who also worked with Sebastian Vettel at Ferrari, will be announced “in due course”.

For Hamilton, the first season in the red racing car was historically bad. For the first time in his entire Grand Prix career, he remained without a podium finish. Communication with Adami on the pit radio repeatedly led to frustration and incomprehension for the experienced driver during the races. Ferrari will present its new racing car for the coming season on January 23rd.
