pedestrian hit on the highway, pavement missing

The Carabinieri of the Chivasso Company, who intervened on site, are investigating to ascertain the dynamics of the incident. But some local residents have pointed out the particular danger of that stretch of road, which does not have a pavement despite the existence of a bus stop; Pedestrians are thus forced to walk on the edge of the road to reach the stop, running many risks. Several serious accidents have occurred in the past.
