Bruno Mars sold 2.1 million tickets for his “The Romantic” tour in one day. The soul artist breaks all previous records.

Advance sales for Bruno Mars’ “The Romantic” tour started on Thursday, January 15, 2026. The musician made history with this.

Advance sales break records

Ever since the soul artist announced his new album THE ROMANTIC, he has been on everyone’s lips. His upcoming tour is eagerly awaited by fans worldwide. When advance sales began, the numbers shot through the roof: 2.1 million tickets were sold in just one day. This mark represents a record on both Ticketmaster and Live Nation. No other artist has ever sold more tickets in one day.

The high demand is not surprising considering this is the pop star’s first tour in ten years. Since the official announcement, 32 additional shows have already been added to meet demand. A total of 70 stadium shows are now scheduled in North America, Europe and the UK. The new album THE ROMANTIC will be released in advance on February 27th.

Historical records

With the record, Bruno Mars pulverizes older records such as Robbie Williams with 1.6 million tickets sold in 2006 or Guns n Roses with one million tickets sold ten years later. This means that one of the most successful tours in history will be in the starting blocks in 2026.

Pre-order now: Exclusive 7-inch single “Baltimore”/“Stare” by Prince in MUSIKEXPRRESS 03/26

We are opening the year 2026 with a unique and extraordinary collaboration: on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of his death, ROLLING STONE and MUSIKEXPRESS are releasing two world-exclusive vinyl singles by Prince.

A few months before his death, the genius of the century had recorded two albums that once again show him in top form and will be re-released in the new year: “HITnRUN Phase I” and “Phase II”. These were to remain his last works. For “Phase I” he worked with singers such as Rita Ora and Lianne La Havas. “Phase II” shows him as a political observer of his time.

The March issue of MUSIKEXPRESS features a second world exclusive Prince single: “Baltimore” / “Stare”, two songs from HITnRUN Phase II. Prince wrote the ballad-like “Baltimore” under the impression of racist police violence in the USA. Both editions are also available HERE together in a bundle at the special price of EUR 19.90.

Included in delivery: MUSIKEXPRESS issue 03/2026 + exclusive Prince 7″ vinyl single
