7 x Old statues of the fountain on the Town Hall Square

Do you know the fountain in the Dobbeplas? It is a spiral-shaped work of art designed by artist duo Frans de Boer and Marja de Boer-Lichtveld. In the 1980s the fountain, under the name Interaction, was located on the Stadhuisplein.

Children had a great time by the water and the stone shape around it provided a cozy seat on warm days. Around 2005 the fountain moved to the Dobeplas. We dived into the image archives, looking for old photos of the fountain on the Stadhuisplein in the Stadshart. Take a quick look, you might recognize it.
