He has admitted that he is guilty of assaulting his girlfriend and threatening a 20-year-old man.
However, Marius Borg Høiby is suspected of numerous other crimes as well, such as sexual crimes. The book says that the police’s suspicions about the rape committed by Marius were raised after they found a video that allegedly showed a sexual crime against a sleeping woman.
Italicized passages are direct excerpts from the book.
It later turned out that Marius had his own password-protected folder where he kept his intimate videos. It was not known how many such sensitive videos the crown princess’s first-born son had recorded. According to sources, his secret, password-protected sex folder contained a total of more than 800 intimate videos and pictures. It is unclear whether he himself was behind all of them, as many members of the group of dudes regularly shared intimate videos with each other. However, it seemed that many of the women in the videos had no idea what was going on.
According to the book, the police worked day and night to identify the women found in the crown princess’s son’s cloud service.
The Court of Norway has not commented on the book’s claim about the sex folder.
In August, it was reported that the son of the crown princess is accused of several different crimes, and the indictment contains 32 charges. Høiby was charged with four counts of rape and assaulting his former common-law partner. In connection with his other ex-common-law partner, he is charged with several acts of violence, breach of peace, damage and violation of a restraining order. He is also accused of photographing the genitalia of several women without their knowledge or consent. The indictment also includes other crimes, such as threats to kill, harassing the police and traffic violations.
Marius’ case is scheduled to be heard at the Oslo district court on February 3. According to the book, six weeks are reserved for processing. Until then, his life is on hold.
Cocaine Prince– according to the book, the Oslo police and the Norwegian police security service PST fear that foreign powers could use Marius’ lifestyle and, for example, the archive of such sensitive videos as blackmail material, in which case Marius would be a security risk to the security of the entire kingdom.
The Norwegian royal family has so far made few public comments on Marius’ criminal suspicions.
In the Year of the Royal Family program in December 2024, the king Harald commented on the situation when Marius had admitted in an open letter that he abused his ex-girlfriend under the influence of drugs.
– Of course, it is heavy and sad that someone close to us has such a burden. Sometimes life can just be really hard. Anyone can face something like that, including our family, the king said in the program, emphasizing:
– And many people suffer from this same problem.
According to the book, the crown prince couple has not commented much on Marius’s situation, but the Kohuts have overshadowed the official duties of the royal household. The book also makes the argument that Mette-Marit and Haakon would have tried to warn Marius of the upcoming arrest in August 2024. According to VG magazine, the crown princess would have cleaned Marius’s apartment on the court’s land while the boy destroyed evidence from his phone before the police arrived.
Only the crown prince couple knows how informed they have been about Marius Borg Høiby’s doings. Crown Prince Haakon put it this way:
– We are very close, so we knew what Marius had told us. We knew about the problem threads, but I don’t want to go into details.
However, the fact that at the end of October 2024, Haakon kicked Marius Borg Høiby out of the house of the crown prince couple shows something about the loss of nerves.
Mette-Marit, who suffers from pulmonary fibrosis, and her husband Haakon have tried to support and help their son secretly in the midst of the commotion, according to the new book. PDO
The Cocaine Prince book about Marius Borg Høiby’s criminal connections, written by Øistein Monser and Torgeir Krokfjord, will be published on January 15 as an audio and e-book on Storytel. The original work Hvite striper, sorte får (Aschecoug) was published in Norway in October 2025.
