Alko published the list of the best-selling products of 2025.

The amount of alcohol purchased from Alko is decreasing, according to a press release sent by Alko. It says that in 2025, 65.6 million liters of drinks were bought from Alko, which was 7.9 percent less than the previous year.
Last year, sales of brewing products increased by 5.9 percent and non-alcoholic products by 38.4 percent compared to 2024. Sales of wine liters decreased by 10.3 percent and spirits by 8.9 percent.
Business Director Kari Pennanen says in the press release that the reform of the alcohol law that entered into force in the summer of 2024 affected Alko’s sales figures for the whole year. Tax increases and the development of Finns’ purchasing power were also reflected in consumption. According to Pennanen, there is currently no accurate information on total alcohol consumption.
The statistics show that Finns especially buy spirits from Alko.
– The three best-selling products in Alko are spirits, which accounted for 27 percent of the total liter sales of spirits. The 10 best-selling spirits make up about 50 percent of the sales of the entire product group, which means that sales are strongly concentrated on a few products, states Pennanen.
