Australian literary festival will no longer take place after backlash over the cancellation of Palestinian-Australian author

A leading Australian literary festival has come under controversy after it decided last week to pull Australian-Palestinian author Randa Abdel-Fattah from its program. There was so much criticism that the board has now decided to resign and cancel this year’s edition.
