Italy’s football record champions Juventus Turin have continued their race to catch up in Serie A.

In the 5-0 (3-0) win against US Cremonese, Juve celebrated their fifth win from the last six league games and once again made up ground in the table. In fourth place, Turin is only four points behind leaders Inter Milan. Things are going better and better with coach Luciano Spalletti, who took over at the end of October.

The Brazilian Bremer (12th) and Jonathan David (15th) made it 2-0 early. Kenan Yildiz (35th) initially missed Emil Audero with a penalty, but then sank the follow-up shot. Cremonese’s Filippo Terracciano (48th) scored an own goal, then former Schalke player Weston McKennie (64th) scored the final point.
