THEthe great North, the Arabian peninsula, the East and then southern Italy. For the next few months, iO Donna has prepared a rich and diversified travel program, suitable for all tastes.
First goal there Finnish Lapland (21-26 March) in the company of our journalist Justine Bellavita. We arrive in Helsinki and from there we go up towards the Arctic landscapes: we will take a trip in a sleigh pulled by huskies to discover the snow-covered nature and meet the reindeer. At night, everyone is ready to observe the Northern Lights, if possible.
From frozen lakes to the desert: the Sultanate of Oman welcomes the travelers of iO Donna (22-29 March), between mosques, dunes and ancient buildings. We will have a sunset aperitif after a safari and take a cruise in Muscat Bay.

For the third trip we take you even further, in Bhutan (16-26 April). After a first stop in Calcutta we fly to Paro, where we visit an imposing monastery, then we visit the capital Thimphu and reach the imposing statue of the Dordenma Buddha. An excursion is planned to reach the Taktsang monastery, known as the “Tiger’s Nest”.
In April and May we stay in Italy. First destination, Puglia (22-26 April). We visit Polignano a Mare, then continue to Lecce and Ostuni, where we will stop in a splendid farmhouse, to then continue towards Matera and Alberobello.
Finally two trips to Sicily: the first in the western part, on the trail of the Florios (29 April-3 May) from Palermo to Marsalathe island of Mozia and the Segesta archaeological park. The second, in the eastern part, is dedicated to Sicily of writers (28 May-2 June) such as Verga and Pirandello, Sciascia and Camilleri, passing through Modica, Ragusa Ibla, Scicli and the Valley of the Temples.
