Gang defrauds man (78) of almost 30,000 euros: “The scammer walks out of the bank office with 137 100-euro notes”

A man (78) from Mortsel was scammed of almost 30,000 euros by fake bank employees. While the criminals kept the man on the phone for hours with an excuse, they siphoned thousands of euros from his account. Surveillance footage shows the gang withdrawing the rest in stacks of cash and making purchases at gas stations with their cards.
