Will Levente Szabó and Eintracht Braunschweig go their separate ways in the winter? Rumors of the striker’s departure persist. His advisor also comments.

Things really went smoothly for Levente Szabó Eintracht Braunschweig never. The attacker contributed six goals and four assists in his 42 competitive games in the blue and yellow jersey. Is it over for the Hungarian in Braunschweig again this winter after a year and a half?

The “Kicker” had already reported that the 26-year-old was about to leave during the current winter transfer phase. Accordingly, clubs from abroad are said to have expressed their interest in the striker.

The latest statements from Szabó advisor Attila Kozák also fit in with this. He explained to the Hungarian TV station “m4sport” that the Hungarian’s early departure had been an issue between the players and the club. There were already offers in the summer. Now clubs from Asia and various European leagues are showing serious interest, according to the Szabó agent.

According to the “Braunschweiger Zeitung”, the attacker will probably be allowed to leave Eintracht if the potential Szabó buyer offers a low six-figure sum. The data portal “transfermarkt.de” currently estimates the 26-year-old’s market value at 500,000 euros.

Szabó had never been able to establish himself sustainably in the starting eleven in Braunschweig. Last summer, BTSV signed further competition in Erencan Yardımcı. The new addition is placed under coach Heiner Backhaus – Szabó mostly only has the role of spectator. In the current season, the two-time Hungarian national player has only played for 90 minutes. In the last five second division games he has been on the bench for the entire game four times.
