The man, a young father with three children, did not survive the blow and died on the spot. Investigation showed that they were both driving too fast. But according to the judge, full liability for the fatal accident lies with the motorcyclist who was overtaking. The man was sentenced to a suspended prison sentence of three months, a driving ban of eight months and a fine of 4,000 euros, half of which is suspended.
