After her explosion of anger at Johan Derksen, Antoinnette Scheulderman is welcome at the table at Today Inside. Both Wilfred Genee and the VI mustache are sympathetic to this.

Johan Derksen’s constant teasing towards Antoinnette Scheulderman has led to a real outburst: the interviewer has exploded, and not just a little. She has posted a Gordon-like tirade on Instagram in which she really goes all out on the VI moustache, who is considered the most important opinion maker on television.

‘I understand’

What does Wilfred Genee think? “I understand it a little bit,” he says RTL Boulevard. “I can imagine that if you have written a book for someone, an autobiography, you think that there might be something special between you. On the other hand: don’t take it all too seriously.”

He continues: “We are of course a bit vicious and vicious every now and then and that also means that you will get reactions in return and you just have to accept them.”

‘It’s part of it’

Wilfred does not think this is harmful to VI or Johan. “Yes, that’s part of it, isn’t it?” he adds Show news. “You can say: ‘Don’t take it all too seriously’, but if it’s on your heart, you can also throw it out, that’s what we do.”

VI will not return from vacation until January 19. Is Antoinette there then? “Well, coincidentally, someone asked me: ‘Does she come to the bar or does she go straight to the table?’ I say: ‘Right to the table!’ Right at the table!”

At the table or not?

The Shownieuws reporter on duty thinks that is a remarkable statement. “On January 19?”

Wilfred likes it. “Yes, I think so.”

The reporter: “It needs to be said.”

Wilfred: “Yes, guys, don’t make things like that so big! I mean: she thinks that, she feels that. Isn’t it fine that she expresses that? As Johan also says: ‘Everyone has an opinion.’”

‘Exciting!’

Show news presenter Eva Vloon sees it as a good idea. “It would be an exciting broadcast if she were there.”

Celebrity expert Bart Ettekoven: “Yes, I just wonder if it will happen. We spoke to Johan for a while and he said: ‘I have no problems with Antoinnette’, so as far as he is concerned she is welcome on the 19th, but she herself tells us: ‘I have been working on this riot for three days now and, to be honest, I am done with it now.'”

“Would you like, Art?”

So that sounds like Antoinette doesn’t feel very strongly about it. Eva: “I understand that, because what else should she say about it? She has said what is on her heart.”

Bart: “It is of course fun to confront him live on television.”

Then to studio guest Art Rooijakkers: “They have also measured you there. Have you ever felt the need: I am going to confront you live and I am just going to sit there?”

‘No, no, no!’

Art isn’t exactly enthusiastic. “No. No. No, no.”

Bart: “No way?

Art: “No, I have never felt the need until now, no. I have never been asked either, but no, I find it more pleasant to sit here at the table.”
