A serious traffic accident happened around noon on the Meirseweg in Zundert. A car crashed into a tree next to the road. There were two people in the car. They were seriously injured.
The road is closed for investigation. A mobile medical team was called. More information is not yet available.
The injured were taken to a hospital in an ambulance, a police spokesperson said. How things could go wrong on the Meirseweg is being investigated. “But it seems to be related to the winter weather.”
