Rap artist Gettomasa, that is Aleksi Lehikoinenannounced in the summer of 2024 that he would leave the stage for the time being. The rapper said directly that he will take a break until his “money runs out”.
Gettomasa was not seen at a single gig in 2025. The last time he published his own music was on May 2, 2024. He published the last joint song with another artist in September 2024.
In February 2025, he was seen at a DJ gig in Jyväskylä I am and Rekamin under the name of record labels DJ Kapteeniupponna. In August 2025, Gettomasa was seen as part of Ylen Where are you from? program, but after this the artist has kept a complete silence everywhere, even on social media.
However, on Sunday, January 4, a change took place on the artist’s Instagram account. Gettomasa published a new photo of himself. He has no other publications on his profile.
In the picture, the artist is standing in the middle of a room with various notebooks and papers on the floor. Gettomasa does not look at the camera in the picture.
The publication gathered numerous comments in just a few tens of minutes. Gettomasa fans suspect that the new Instagram post heralds new music in 2026.

Income published
The artist last performed publicly in Helsinki in August 2024. Before the gig, he announced that there are no gigs scheduled for the fall. At the same time, he announced that he will hardly be seen on stage next year.
