About 50,000 households and more than 2,000 companies in southwest Berlin have been without power since Saturday morning. A fire on a bridge carrying power lines caused the power outage. Grid operator Stromnetz takes into account that the restoration of the power grid can take a long time. Some households may not have power again until Thursday.
