A file that circulated again on social networks revived a little-disseminated chapter of Lilia Lemoine’s public journey. Years ago, when she did not yet have political prominence, the current national representative of La Libertad Avanza offered courses and workshops at Tecnópolis, the cultural and educational property that functioned as an emblem of the Kirchnerist management.

According to records of the time, Lemoine was part of the activities open to the public that took place within the framework of Tecnópolis, where training linked to design, cosplay and pop culture were offered. In this context, she participated as a speaker and promoter of free workshops for young people and visitors to the property.

In addition to his role in Tecnópolis, in those years Lemoine also had a presence in media outlets aligned with Kirchnerism, with some appearances on the C5N news signal, a fact that today contrasts with his current political positioning and his critical discourse towards that space.

The archival material shows Lemoine integrated into cultural initiatives financed by the State, at a time when Tecnópolis was presented as a central public policy for the dissemination of science, technology and creative industries.

The contrast between that stage and her present as a libertarian deputy, from where she harshly questions Kirchnerism and state spending, was one of the reasons why the content went viral again and generated debate on social networks and in the political sphere.

The reappearance of these records works as a reminder of the leader’s recent past and fuels the discussion about the changes in discourse and path of figures who today occupy central places in the Argentine political scene.
