A new post came from Galatasaray and Trabzonspor regarding the “Support to Gaza” march to be held on Galata Bridge on January 1, 2026. Dursun Özbek and Ertuğrul Doğan, who appeared in front of the camera, called on their fans to support Palestine with the posts they shared through their clubs’ official channels.
Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek said, “What happened in Gaza is a test of humanity’s conscience. We will not get used to this silence. We meet shoulder to shoulder against oppression, on the same side for humanity. We are there on the Galata Bridge on the morning of January 1 to be the voice of the oppressed.” He addressed his fans with his words.
Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan said, “They said a ceasefire, but the mornings are still rising with bombs in Gaza. This is not a march, this is a stance. As the Trabzonspor community, we are against oppression and on the side of the oppressed.” he stated.
