The draw for the Halkbank Women’s Federation Cup 2026, which will be held with the participation of the Turkish Women’s Basketball League teams, was held at the Basketball Development Center.
Managers of the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF), representatives of the Halkbank Turkish Women’s Basketball League teams that will compete in the Federation Cup, and members of the press took part in the draw for the Women’s Federation Cup, which will be held with the participation of the Turkish Women’s Basketball League teams.
TBF Board Member Ali Türkmen, who made the opening speech, said, “I wish God’s mercy to our heroic police officers who were martyred during the operation in Yalova and my condolences to their families. I wish a speedy recovery to our injured security forces. I believe that the teams that qualified to compete in this cup with their performance in the first half of the league in the Halkbank Turkish Women’s Basketball League will once again reveal the development of women’s basketball with the struggle they will put on the field. I congratulate the teams that have qualified to take part in this organization and “I wish you success in advance,” he said.
In his speech, TKBL Director Ozan Yıkılmaz said, “I congratulate all our clubs that have qualified to participate in the Halkbank Women’s Federation Cup, where our teams that finished the first half of the Halkbank Turkey Women’s Basketball League in the top eight in the points table will face each other. I wish all our teams to have a successful season both in the cup and in the rest of the league.”
