Former weightlifter Anni Vuohijoki has had to reduce her training during the winter, and her weight has dropped by almost seven kilos.

Vuohijoki tells about a special phenomenon on Instagram that he noticed when the number of exercises decreased.

– I have lost almost 7 kilos of weight, which was funny in the sense that the body looks more trained, even though I haven’t really done anything terrible. It’s because I have really massive abdominal muscles and now that they haven’t been trained, the middle body has narrowed, the Olympic athlete explains.

Vuohijoki’s hard strength training and weight lifting exercises are on hiatus, and he is currently focusing on bodybuilding-style exercises. There are four training sessions per week.

– I hope my meat will still come back. As I lost weight, I moved to size M, he writes.

– I have to admit that the motivation has been a bit zero, because I haven’t had a whole lot of training weeks.
