XRP

Recently, XRP showed clear relative weakness: within three months, the price lost around a third of its value, and the cryptocurrency is now far from its all-time high. Technically speaking, XRP is once again in a significant bear market. However, there may now be new hope.

YoungHoon Kim, of all people, who describes himself as the “smartest person in the world”, is clearly in favor of XRP instead of Bitcoin. But what is behind this assessment?

XRP instead of Bitcoin – prediction of the smartest person in the world surprised

YoungHoon Kim (self-reported IQ 276) expressed his prediction in a concise post: XRP is superior to Bitcoin. This is less about a detailed market analysis and more about a pointed expression of opinion. Implicitly, Kim refers to features of XRP such as fast transactions, low fees and suitability for payment transactions between financial institutions.

In another post, YoungHoon Kim concretizes his statement by clearly separating the roles of cryptocurrencies.

He describes Bitcoin as the “next gold” – i.e. a store of value that is primarily used for hedging purposes. On the other hand, he compares XRP with the US dollar and emphasizes its real use in payment transactions. This refers to fast, cheap and scalable transactions, especially for banks and international transfers. With this, Kim makes it clear: his preference for XRP is not based on scarcity or speculation, but on practical applicability in the global financial system. This is simply the larger market.

However, YoungHoon Kim is increasingly being criticized. Doubts about his supposedly extremely high IQ and accusations of imposture are raised again and again. His activities on X also seem increasingly dubious to many analysts and are sometimes reminiscent of typical scam patterns. Against this background, his public support for XRP could even be problematic at second glance. Instead of creating trust, it creates skepticism among some investors. Because the reputation of the XRP community is already questionable in parts.

Crypto Tip: Strength in HYPER – will this L2 change minds?

The development of Bitcoin Layer 2 technologies could well change the assessment of analysts. Solutions like Lightning or other L2 approaches make Bitcoin faster, cheaper and more suitable for everyday use. If Bitcoin were to become not only a store of value but also an efficient payment network, its utility would increase significantly. In this case, the clear separation between “digital gold” and “digital dollar” could weaken. This would probably require a revaluation of Bitcoin.

The investment case surrounding the new Bitcoin-L2 Bitcoin Hyper is based on a clear vision of the future for Bitcoin. While Bitcoin has so far been used primarily as a stable store of value, the project addresses exactly where the biggest limitation lies: lack of scalability and limited usability for applications. Bitcoin Hyper does not want to replace Bitcoin, but rather expand it in a meaningful way. This is what the new crypto presale is aimed at. Basically, the developers want to combine the good sides of Bitcoin with the good sides of Solana. This is where the best of different worlds come together.

Bitcoin Hyper

At the heart of the idea is a modern Layer 2 structure that is based on Bitcoin without changing its security. The actual Bitcoin blockchain remains the foundation for custody and final settlement. This creates a flexible execution layer that enables fast transactions, low costs and programmable applications. Technologically, Bitcoin Hyper uses the Solana Virtual Machine, which allows high speed and parallel processing. Developers can easily integrate existing applications and connect them directly to Bitcoin for the first time.

A crucial building block is the bridge between Layer 1 and Layer 2. Real Bitcoins are deposited and used as wrapped BTC on the L2. The system is complemented by rollups and zero-knowledge technology.

The native token HYPER plays a central role: it is used for transaction fees, enables staking and gives you a say in the network. The more the ecosystem grows, the greater the demand for HYPER.

Strong presale interest at nearly $30 million demonstrates the relative strength of the project. The next price increase will take place tomorrow. Staking also brings a return of 39 percent APY.
