Has Rob Goossens put forward his good intentions? He suddenly shows his spicy side again. This time his former RTL colleague Stijn de Vries has to pay the price…
We all know that RTL Tonight will be off the air sooner or later, but until then they will keep busy with planing. Some heads have already rolled, including that of Stijn de Vries. He always made all kinds of crap items for RTL Tonight. At one point we even saw him visit a ‘tickle salon’.
Nice talk
Of course, no one is really looking forward to that and that’s why they sent that boy home. And now he is being kicked by Rob Goossens, the TV critic of sister program RTL Boulevard. Why? Because he now makes that room at RTL Tonight a little more beautiful than it actually was.
Stijn says in the Veronica Superguide – apparently they still thought he was relevant enough to interview – that the talk show did not suit him. “He explains why the journalistic talk show did not suit him, and how he now charts his own course,” Boulevard writes about it.
Rob lashes out
Rob thinks that’s laughable. He sneers X: “No shame in being fired, but Rikkert, you are fired. Don’t be so interesting, man.”
A certain Jerry thinks that is false and mean. “Is it necessary to and public to shout that someone has been fired? No, that’s not necessary. That is indecent.”
Rob then: “I’m not revealing anything, it’s just stated in the article.”
Thickness
What is the point Rob wants to make? “I’m concerned about the fattening. As if you are going to tell us why you have decided not to go with the Dutch national team to the World Cup next summer while you are not in the picture at all.”
Stijn indeed admits his resignation in the magazine. He says: “It was their decision, but one that made me think: yes, that is actually correct.”
Irrelevant
Inge doesn’t understand what Rob is talking about. “He literally says that he has been fired but that he is okay with it?”
One Baukje: “That is probably why it is a screenshot and not a link to the article, so his lie is not so noticeable. 🤡”
Rob pissed off: “How good are you at reading comprehension? The article indeed neatly states that he has been fired. Which means that his stated reasons for ‘quitting’ are irrelevant nonsense. That bothers me.”
