The shares of the chip giant NVIDIA are looking up before the weekend.
NVIDIA shares ultimately rose 1.02 percent to $190.53 on Friday, one of the best stocks in the NASDAQ 100. The chip expert has received a non-exclusive product license from the AI startup Groq and is taking on some of the employees. Groq will continue to be an independent company, it said on its website. Financial details were not disclosed by either company. A report from the US financial broadcaster that NVIDIA wanted to buy Groq for $20 billion had previously caused a stir.
