The fight against pharmaceutical fraud – worth 8 million euros in 2023 – will be significantly stepped up. Both pharmacists and patients will be monitored more closely under a new action plan from the Riziv. We list the measures that should ensure, among other things, that a pharmacist can only have each box reimbursed once and that prescriptions from deceased general practitioners are no longer accepted.
