TÜMOSAN Konyaspor President Ömer Atiker talked about the work they have done since the day they took office, at the press conference he held at Konya Metropolitan Stadium. Stating that they reduced the club’s 54 contracted professional football players to 40, Atiker stated that the board of directors provided approximately 620 million liras of support to the club.
Atiker stated that they ensured that approximately 600 million lira came into the safe as club income and said, “These resources were used not to save the day, but to build the future of our club. We anticipate that our debt will be approximately 2.4 billion lira by the end of this season. The amount of debt taken over is 1 billion 550 million lira, the restructuring exchange rate and interest difference is 250 million lira, and when we add up the 2025-2026 season income-expense difference, 2.4 billion lira.” “We are working hard to pay this debt. Hopefully, we are creating serious opportunities that will bring permanent income to our club.” he said.
“WE MADE OUR FIRST TRANSFER WITH DENIZ TÜRÜÇ”
Pointing out that the basic principle in transfer is financial discipline and sporting contribution, Atiker said:
“In this context, 8 players were recruited to our club at the beginning of the season. Our half-time transfer efforts continue at full speed. We plan to make 4 or 5 reinforcements to the areas our team needs. Currently, our transfer committee has started to work quickly. We made our first transfer with Deniz Türüç. Our meetings with our other friends continue. Hopefully, they will be in Antalya during the camp period. I am not giving names because the process is currently ongoing.”
