The Nuggets already knocked out the Jazz in the opening quarter.

Star players Lauri Markkanen and Denver Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic met again. PDO

An NBA basketball player who was sidelined for two games Lauri Markkanen returned to play when the Utah Jazz he represented faced the Denver Nuggets early Tuesday morning Finnish time.

Markkanen’s return didn’t help the Jazz get back to winning ways, but the Nuggets showed the locker room right away in the opening quarter.

The Nuggets took the lead right away, leading by nearly 30 points and ending the first quarter with a 25-point lead. Jazz did not recover from this.

– The game got out of hand quite early, Jazz’s head coach Will Hardy admitted.

The final scores were Nuggets 135, Jazz 112.

– We did some things well today. We won points under the basket, which was the focus going into the game. “Early in the game, we got into a position where it’s hard to win,” Hardy said.

Markkanen scored 27 points. Hardy praised the Finn’s will to fight, professionalism and leadership.

The Jazz have lost three games in a row and are ranked 12/15 in the Western Conference.
