A 38-year-old man from Belgium died last Sunday in a fatal collision on the Dutch highway A79, near Valkenburg. The Dutch police confirm this. Initially the identity of the victim was not yet known, but after further investigation it turned out to be a man from Verviers. The next of kin have now been informed.
