A cyclist (16) was seriously injured in a collision with a car in Vught on Thursday evening. The accident happened at the intersection of Postweg and Loonsebaan.
The driver of the car probably overlooked the cyclist and collided with the victim. There is a large crack in the windshield of the car.
Trauma helicopter called
An air ambulance was called for the victim. It landed a bit further away. A doctor also got into the ambulance there, after which they continued to the hospital in Tilburg.
The motorist was not injured. The police are on site and are investigating.
