Michael van Gerwen fought his way through fits and starts to the second round of the World Darts Championship. Debutant Mitsuhiko Tatsunami – who clearly had the audience on his side – was pushed aside 3-1. But the Dutchman’s body language was clear: it was very, very difficult.
