Ex model Jasmin Vähäkangas (formerly Mäntylä), 43, takes the position that she lost her Miss crown Sarah Dzafcen22, racism scare.
Vähäkangas emphasizes in his Instagram post that racism and other bullying are always wrong, but feels that Dzafce’s mocked picture was not about that. The racist uproar started when a photo spread in the anonymous messaging service Jodel, in which Dzafce stretched his eyes crookedly with his fingers. The text “eating with the Chinese” was written on the picture. The picture was interpreted as racist towards Asians.
– The conversation started from the flap between the friends, which swelled like bun dough. The biggest problem I see is how this year’s original Miss Finland Sarah was thrown to the wolves and left alone to carry the racist cape that was forcibly placed on her. A nauseating case in every way, Vähäkangas writes.

The topic makes Vähäkankaa remember her own beauty pageant and modeling days, when she was criticized. According to Vähkanka, for example, the host May Day Pimi47, had mocked him once on MTV’s late-night chat.
– On one occasion, I was surprised and amused, because there a promising host called Vappu Pimiä mocked me from behind the shoulder, mimicked my nap photography poses while laughing his familiar laugh. On television. And I was a teenager then. The imitation/mockery didn’t bother me, but it was embarrassing to watch, and not because of me at all, says the ex-model.
– This example is because now these people who demanded Sarah’s head on the board insisted that even though Sarah is young, she is still an adult. That chat host was in the same age group at the time of the aforementioned story, and he has become today’s folk candle, he adds.

Pimiä comments on Vähäkanka’s words Stop from Los Angeles, where he is currently vacationing with his family.
– 25 years ago, a lot of all kinds of things happened and happened in the night chat, the presenter tells the magazine.
“Unfortunately, I have no recollection of this particular event,” he adds.
Iltalehti unsuccessfully tried to reach Pimiä regarding the subject both by phone and text message.
Pimiä worked as an MTV chat host in 2001–2003. Since then, Pimi has hosted, among other things Dancing with the stars– and A bride for Maajussi programs.
