Roger (73) offered shelter to a homeless woman, but her boyfriend kills him: “He came out with two bags”

He had offered shelter to a homeless woman in his terraced house in Izegem. But Roger D. (73) paid for that with his life. When the woman’s boyfriend (53) came to pick up her last things on Tuesday afternoon last week, he and Roger got into an argument. He killed Roger and left him dead. The housekeeper found Roger’s body in a pool of blood a day later. The police had camera images of the perpetrator – with two bags filled with the items – and were able to arrest him on Monday.
