FC Den Bosch defeated the amateurs of Katwijk in the Eurojackpot KNVB Cup on Tuesday evening. It remained exciting for a long time: it was only in injury time that the home team scored the winning goal.
Katwijk took the lead in Den Bosch. Mukhtar Suleiman gave the visitors an early lead, before Jeffry Fortes leveled the score moments later.
It took a long time before FC Den Bosch scored the redeeming goal. Debutant Boushaba shot the ball into the far corner in injury time and secured the victory: 2-1. This means the club qualifies for the third round of the KNVB Cup.
