Ravenna falls and Arezzo does not take advantage of it, in the long-distance challenge for the top (here is the ranking). At the last match of his excellent 2025 (he will rest at the weekend, given that they were supposed to face Rimini), Marchionni’s team slips onto the pitch of a Vis Pesaro team still unbeaten at home: the penalty converted by Paganini was decisive in the first half, following a foul by Luciani on Nicastro seen again at Fvs. Bucchi fails to take advantage of the league leaders’ misstep, held back by the Pineto of his old friend Tisci (who was on his staff at the time of Benevento and Empoli) in a spectacular 3-3: everything happens in the first half – a brace from the spot by Bruzzaniti, Pineto’s transfer man for January -, in the second half the Abruzzo goalkeeper Tonti defends the result with his saves. Arezzo, in any case, has the opportunity to turn the corner as winter champions in case of success on Saturday in Sassari.

Fresh from the bad elimination in the Italian Cup, Crotone restarts with a convincing success in the playoff clash with Casarano: both goals in the first half, first Murano – second goal in five days -, then Zunno, taking advantage of a restart born from a free kick in favor of the guests. Longo’s team thus climbs back to sixth place with 27 points (here is the ranking), overtaking Casarano and Potenza (25). Another positive result for Foggia, relaunched by Barilari with seven points in the last three games which give us a glimpse of their exit from the playout zone: Monopoli – who have not won since the beginning of November – falls at the Zaccheria, which is resolved in the second half by Winkelmann’s performance (the German scored together with D’Amico, as in the previous home success against Cosenza).
