The multi-year plan includes major projects such as the Huis van de Oudenburgenaar, village center renovation in Ettelgem, the finishing of the Abbey farm site and a new multi-purpose room that will also serve as a childcare facility. The recycling park is also being renovated and there are investments in sports, heritage and roads.
In addition, the city reduces the general municipal tax. By the end of the legislature, families will still pay 60 euros instead of 100 euros. For singles and single parents, that amount drops from 50 to 30 euros.
