Norwegian freestyle skier William Bostadløkken20, was injured during training in the United States and is hospitalized in Denver with serious injuries.
According to the release of the Norwegian Ski Association, the young man has several fractures, including in his back. He underwent surgery on Wednesday afternoon local time.
– William is conscious and awake, and he is receiving good treatment in a hospital in Denver, the doctor of the Norwegian national team Andreas Persson tells.
He did not want to assess Bostadløkken’s condition in more detail yet, but admitted that the injuries are serious.
– The next few days will give us more answers, Persson stated.

Bostadløkken is considered one of Norway’s most promising freestyle skiers.
