Ski season has opened in Palandöken. Although there was not enough snow on the mountain, the artificial snow tracks hosted ski lovers over the weekend.

Palandöken, which opened the ski season both early and late thanks to the stored snow and artificial snow works, witnessed colorful scenes. Citizens who were longing for skiing took advantage of the beautiful weather and flocked to the slopes.

Palandöken, whose longest ski track is 12.5 kilometers long and where skiing is possible uninterrupted along this track, has especially attracted the attention of tourists coming from outside the city. Palandöken Ski Center has a total of 56 tracks with different difficulty levels, including 30 easy level tracks, 12 medium level tracks, 9 professional tracks and 5 natural tracks. Konaklı Ski Center, known as Palandöken 2, has 24.8 kilometers of pistes in addition to this total number of pistes. The total track length of these two ski resorts is 87 kilometers.
