The giants Ellert and Brammert from the open-air museum of the same name in Schoonoord are not cold this Christmas: hundreds of volunteers knit together two enormous Christmas sweaters, which were put on on Thursday afternoon. “Visitors are enthusiastically looking for their own patches,” says chairman Saakje van Tellingen.
