Luis Achucarro is much more than a private chef: he is a reference in the diplomatic gastronomya bridge between cultures and a creator of experiences that go beyond the plate. With years of work in diplomatic residences, formal events and official meetings, Achucarro established himself as one of the main culinary ambassadors of Paraguay in Argentina.

His proposal combines professionalism, sensitivity and a deep respect for the roots. “Cooking for another country or for a community is not just presenting a menu; it is representing an identity,” he often remarks. That vision connects him naturally with his current role as President of the Ñande Feria Civil Associationan organization that promotes the dissemination of Paraguayan culture from a contemporary, inclusive and close perspective.

Ñande Fair: a space to celebrate identity

Under his leadership and the joint work of the Ñande Civil Association, comes the First Edition of Ñande Fair (Our Fair)a cultural meeting that honors the traditions, talent and creativity of Paraguayans living in Argentina.

The event will take place on December 12 and 13of 15:00 to 21:00in it Cultural Center of Paraguay (Tucumán 1833, CABA), with free entry. A unique opportunity to get closer to the Paraguayan cultural wealth from an experiential experience.

In line with his specialty, Luis Achucarro will have a central role in the gastronomic proposal of the fair. They will be presented traditional dishes, live demonstrations and preparations that reveal the most authentic flavors of Paraguay: chipa guasú, Paraguayan soup, mbejú, dishes with cassava and more.

Cuisine, understood as a cultural language and as an expression of identity, will be one of the axes of the event. And who better than Achucarro to convey it: his work in diplomatic events positions him as a reference capable of transforming each tasting into an act of cultural representation.

Ñande Feria promises two days where culture is experienced in multiple formats:

  • National crafts: pieces in ñanduti, Ao Po’i, filigree and author’s works.
  • Paraguayan music and dance: live shows, traditional performances and emerging artists.
  • Entrepreneurs and creators: creative proposals, cultural products and independent design.
  • Community cultural tree: a symbolic space where each exhibitor will leave an object that represents their identity, their roots and their work.

The objective is clear: celebrate, strengthen and keep Paraguayan culture alive beyond borders.

“Promulgating Paraguayan culture means living it, sharing it and celebrating it,” Achucarro highlights. For him, this first edition is just the beginning of a project with great projection. Ñande Feria seeks to become a monthly meeting point, a bridge between generations and a platform for Paraguayan talent to have visibility and recognition.
