Salvadoran Abrego, wrongly deported from the US, released, face of Trump’s deportation policy

Kilmar Abrego Garcia is free again after a judge in the US state of Maryland ordered his release earlier on Thursday. The El Salvador-born man was in custody awaiting a possible second deportation. His earlier, wrongful deportation became the center of a row surrounding the Trump administration’s deportation policy.
