Peter Hoever was appointed to the management of Olymp Bezner KG.
Hoever will take over the role of Chief Sales Officer on January 1st, the Bietigheim-Bissingen-based shirt specialist announced on Thursday. He succeeds Kai Graf, who “for personal reasons” decided to take on a new area of responsibility and thus the position of Head of Wholesale National.
“Peter Hoever is a proven sales and omnichannel expert,” said Mark Bezner, managing partner at Olymp. “We are very pleased to be able to further develop and expand our successful brand distribution with him.”
At Olymp, the 56-year-old takes over overall management of wholesale, retail and online sales, including the corporate fashion and private label business areas. In doing so, he should consistently promote the “seamless integration of all sales and communication channels with a view to the future requirements in the fashion industry,” says Bezner.
The new head of sales comes from Bültel
Most recently, Hoever was at the clothing provider Bültel Fashion Group, based in Salzbergen, Lower Saxony, where as co-CEO he was responsible for sales, product and brand management, including for the Camel Active brand. Before that, he worked for the Swedish brand Gant for almost 20 years in various positions, most recently as Managing Director Central Europe.
In addition to company owner Bezner, who is responsible for corporate strategy as well as the areas of finance and controlling, and Hoever, the Olymp management also includes Heiko Ihben, responsible for brand and product management, design, marketing, visual merchandising as well as human resources and legal, and Johann Trischberger, responsible for production and procurement, corporate responsibility, internal services, logistics as well as IT and organization.
