Shortly before the stroke of midnight on November 17, 2005, the press agencies reported a crime story, where it was reported that the entrepreneur Michelangelo Alfano had been found dead in a park in Messina. In the few lines that followed, it was added that the man, according to initial police findings, had shot himself in the head with a 6.35 caliber pistol.
