Samsunspor will host AEK Athens on December 11 in the 5th week of the UEFA Conference League. Jeremie Pignard will blow the whistle in the match that will start at 20.45 at Samsun 19 Mayıs Stadium. Pignard’s assistants will be Aurelien Drouet and Thomas Luczynski. The fourth referee of the match will be Ruddy Buquet, also from the same federation.
The red-whites completed their preparations with training before the match to be played on December 11. The first 15 minutes of the training, which was held at Nuri Asan Facilities under the management of coach Thomas Reis, was open to the press. The red-whites started the training with warm-up exercises. Then, the training ended after a 5-on-2 game of catching the ball, passing and directionless play in a narrow area. Afonso Sousa and Bedirhan Çetin, who are injured in Samsunspor, are not expected to be in the squad for the AEK Athens match. On the other hand, Eyüp Aydın and Cherif Ndiaye cannot be included in the match squad due to the status.
