According to the minister, the development of the building will not be compromised. “Once protected, the station is eligible for financial restoration support and can also count on the expertise of the Immovable Heritage Agency, which is ready as a coach and partner to take steps forward together with the NMBS, the City of Kortrijk, Infrabel and De Lijn.”
In the meantime, the minister contacted the city of Kortrijk and NMBS to jointly find a solution for the further development and upgrading of the station.
