Private journalist Jan Uriot has been secretive about his date of birth for years. According to trade site Villamedia, he is from 1958 and therefore 67 years old, but evil tongues claim that he is 83.
The fact that Jan Uriot has been secretive about his date of birth for years fuels rumors that he is actually much older than official sources indicate. Now Marc-Marie Huijbregts has managed to reveal to him for the first time on camera what day and month he was born. “Is December a nice month for you?” he asks in his podcast.
December 5
Jan then seems to make a mistake. “Yes, my birthday is in December.”
Marc-Marie then: “Your year of birth is not entirely clear to anyone and your day was not clear for a while. Then I said: ‘When is your birthday?’ Then you said, “December 5.” Then I said: ‘Oh, that is on the day with Jeroen Krabbé’, because his birthday is also on December 5, and Sinterklaas of course. And then you said: ‘Yes, yes, how nice.’ Okay, fine.”

However, it was a lie, according to Marc-Marie. “I just heard that December 4 is your birthday, but now I have also seen your driver’s license, which surprises me anyway.”
Jan: “Yes, I had to provide evidence of course.”
Marc-Marie: “So it really is December 4.”
67 years
If the year of birth stated by Villamedia is correct, this means that Jan is currently 67 years old, but he has not confirmed that year of birth in that podcast.
He does say that he received a small Nespresso machine as a gift. “I’m very happy with it. That’s such a small one.”
